2010 football marketingpreneurs

June 25, 2010

We, marketingpreneurs are forever wiping our visions. Even now, in times of the biggest event; we are selfish enough to admire sales dynamics inside the square pitches throughout South Africa.

Perhaps, an amateur football analysis on my part- international football is not facing but going through a terrible decline! Well, at least not from the selling point of view.

Nonetheless, a more confident extraction from the world spectacle; is the wisdom that you can actually sell people no product but a promise of that product just because it has a reputable history.

It’s not about emotions you see, but all about contest. Can I get an Oh! moment please!

However, there is a twist – a marketingpreneur ought to celebrate this wonderful vision – ensure your leads funnel is filled with 80% or more of informal opportunities/leads.

Sustainability as well as survival in entrepreneurship are insisted by effecting strategies of contest over being efficient at competitive sparks in trying to win yourself formal sales.

Take the USA campaign in this world, conventional or contestable? Too easy,… France or Italy…much better one…England?

Tenders, RFP’s and the likes, require you to be of conventional reason. Whereas, Mrs. Jones, Bra Thaby require you to be more of a …marketingpreneur shall we say!

Marketing is what it is!
